You can get this information and a whole lot more online throught the openoffice.org site. This is so basic that, like others have said, it is useless. I can't imagine what the purpose of writing it was. Thrown together.
Very basic information. I found myself joining a forum for issues/problems that I felt should have been answered in the book. I do not recommend it. They should have had a more in depth index to answer questions and they should of have a training module that showed the whole program capabiities by building a simple database from beginning to end highlighting all the abilities of the program. If that would have occurred the questions would have been answered as the building of the database file continued and finally concluded.
Browse thru this book, I can tell I'm going to use it as my major database application very very soon.
A superficial treatment. Not enough examples. A waste of money
Good basic info. Figures were a little to small and hard to read. Somewhat lacking on details
Book is pretty basic. I wish it had been more detailed. Many functions of the database program were not discussed.
Again the book does not give enough detail to create a more complex database that I am use to creating using MS Access.
